Special Weather Statement

…SNOW SQUALLS WILL AFFECT THE MID OHIO VALLEY THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS…

RADAR AND SURFACE OBSERVING SENSORS INDICATED SNOW SHOWERS WHICH WOULD REDUCE VISIBILITY TO OCCASIONALLY LESS THAN A MILE AT TIMES. THESE SHOWERS SHOULD CONTINUE THROUGH 530 PM…AND DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.

LITTLE TO NO ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED WITH THESE SNOW SHOWERS…BUT WITH REDUCED VISIBILTY COMBINED WITH WIND GUSTS NEARING 30 MPH…DRIVING CONDITIONS WILL BE HAZARDOUS.

HAZARDS INCLUDE…
VISIBILITY RAPIDLY DROPPING TO LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE…

USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU MUST TRAVEL INTO OR THROUGH THIS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SNOW SQUALL. CONSIDER DELAYING TRAVEL UNTIL THE SQUALL PASSES YOUR LOCATION.
