…ANOTHER ROUND OF ACCUMULATING SNOW EXPECTED FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY…

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM SWINGING THROUGH THE GREAT LAKES WILL PULL A STRONG COLD FRONT THROUGH THE REGION ON SATURDAY. AHEAD OF THE FRONT…AN AREA OF ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL FALL ACROSS THE AREA. SNOW AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE 2 TO 3 INCHES ACROSS SOUTHERN INDIANA…SOUTHERN OHIO AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY. 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE NORTHERN MIAMI VALLEY OVER TO CENTRAL OHIO. GUSTY WINDS FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY WILL ALLOW FOR BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

ANY CHANGE IN THE STRENGTH OR TRACK OF THE SYSTEM COULD RESULT CHANGES IN THE SNOWFALL FORECAST.

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE LIKELIHOOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING AND DRIVE CAREFULLY. ALLOW PLENTY OF EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION. MOTORISTS SHOULD ALSO BE ALERT FOR REDUCED VISIBILITIES CAUSED BY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.
