URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST SATURDAY…

* TIMING…SNOW WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA OVERNIGHT AND REMAIN ACROSS THE REGION SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF. BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW MAY CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATIONS…SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 4 INCHES.

* WINDS…SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING THEN BECOMING WESTERLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BLOWING SNOW MAY ALSO LIMIT VISIBILITIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
