URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH
1101 PM EST SAT JAN 25 2014

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST MONDAY…

* TIMING…BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WIND CHILL VALUES WILL DROP DOWN TO NEGATIVE 10 TO NEGATIVE 15 OVERNIGHT. ADDITIONAL SNOW WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF BY MONDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL PICK UP AGAIN ON SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT ALLOWING FOR ADDITIONAL BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND 2 TO 4 INCHES.

* WINDS…WEST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH THROUGH THIS EVENING. SOUTH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH ON SUNDAY BECOMING WESTERLY SUNDAY NIGHT.

* VISIBILITIES…VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED DUE TO SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS…THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT TRAVEL CONDITIONS. ROADS WILL REPEATEDLY BECOME SNOW COVERED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BLOWING SNOW MAY ALSO LIMIT VISIBILITIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
