…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST MONDAY…
…WIND CHILL WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING…

* TIMING…ADDITIONAL SNOW WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF TOMORROW MORNING. WINDS WILL PICK UP AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT ALLOWING FOR ADDITIONAL BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW. BITTER COLD TEMPERATURES AND WIND CHILLS WILL ARRIVE BY MONDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS…SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 2 INCHES…WITH LOCAL HIGHER AMOUNTS TO 3 INCHES.

* WINDS…WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* WIND CHILL READINGS…AS LOW AS 37 BELOW MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS…TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ARE EXPECTED DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITIES AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA CAN OCCUR WITH PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO THE BITTER COLD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BLOWING SNOW MAY ALSO LIMIT VISIBILITIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING. REMEMBER…A WIND CHILL WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR HAZARDOUS WIND CHILL CONDITIONS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA.

A WIND CHILL WATCH MEANS THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS TO CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND WARNINGS FOR UPDATES ON THIS SITUATION.
