…WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST WEDNESDAY…
…WIND CHILL ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT NOON EST TODAY…

* WINDS…WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH TODAY DIMINISHING TO AROUND 10 MPH TONIGHT. SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH TUESDAY DECREASING TO AROUND 10 MPH TUESDAY NIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES…TEMPERATURES WILL MOSTLY BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS THIS AFTERNOON. THE COLDEST VALUES OF 10 BELOW TO 15 BELOW WILL OCCUR TONIGHT. HIGHS WILL ONLY BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ON TUESDAY AND THEN DROP BACK BELOW ZERO TUESDAY NIGHT.

* WIND CHILL READINGS…DANGEROUS WIND CHILL READINGS WILL BE IN THE 10 TO 20 BELOW ZERO RANGE TODAY…FALLING AS LOW AS 25 TO 35 BELOW ZERO TONIGHT. WIND CHILLS WILL BE IN THE 10 TO 20 BELOW ZERO RANGE TUESDAY AFTERNOON…FALLING TO 25 TO 35 BELOW ZERO TUESDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS…FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA CAN OCCUR WITH EXPOSURE TO THE BITTER COLD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
