…WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST WEDNESDAY…

* WINDS…WEST WINDS OF 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS WITH WIND GUSTS DIMINISHING OVERNIGHT. SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 5 TO 15 MPH WILL BE PRESENT TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES…NEGATIVE TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED TONIGHT AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

* WIND CHILL READINGS…AS LOW AS 30 BELOW.

* IMPACTS…FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA CAN OCCUR WITH EXPOSURE TO THE BITTER COLD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
