…WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST WEDNESDAY…

* WINDS…WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 5 TO 15 MPH WILL BE PRESENT TODAY INTO WEDNESDAY.

* TEMPERATURES…SUB ZERO TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED THIS MORNING AND AGAIN TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* WIND CHILL READINGS…WIND CHILLS IN THE MINUS 20 TO MINUS 30 RANGE CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH THIS MORNING AND AGAIN TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS…FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA CAN OCCUR WITH EXPOSURE TO THE BITTER COLD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
