URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH
400 AM EST WED FEB 5 2014

…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING…

* HAZARD TYPES…HEAVY SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS ALONG WITH LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS.

* ACCUMULATIONS…SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 8 INCHES…ALONG WITH UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE.

* TIMING…SNOW HAS TRANSITIONED TO FREEZING RAIN ACROSS MOST LOCATIONS THIS MORNING. THIS FREEZING RAIN COULD CAUSE UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE ACCUMULATION BEFORE A TRANSITION BACK TO SNOW OCCURS LATER THIS MORNING.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITIES…SNOW…SLEET…AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS.

REMEMBER…A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW…SLEET…AND ICE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.
