THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR…CAMPBELL COUNTY IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY…KENTON COUNTY IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY…NORTHWESTERN BROWN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST OHIO…BUTLER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST OHIO…NORTHERN CLERMONT COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST OHIO…HAMILTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST OHIO…WARREN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST OHIO…MONTGOMERY COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO…PREBLE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO…

* UNTIL 700 AM EDT.

* AT 304 AM EDT…RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING THROUGH THE REGION. ONE TO LOCALLY TWO INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 6 AM.

* MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POORLY DRAINED STREETS…HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES WILL OCCUR. IN ADDITION…FARMLAND NEAR CREEKS…STREAMS AND DRAINAGE DITCHES WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE IMPACTED INCLUDE…ANDERSON TOWNSHIP…BATAVIA…BLUE ASH…CHEVIOT…COVINGTON…DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI…DOWNTOWN DAYTON…EATON…FAIRFIELD…HAMILTON…HIGHLAND HEIGHTS AND HUBER HEIGHTS.

IN ADDITION…FLOODING COULD OCCUR IN…AMBERLEY…ARLINGTON HEIGHTS…BANTAM…BECKETT RIDGE…BELLEVUE…BLAIRSVILLE…BRIDGETOWN AND BROOKVILLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

STAY AWAY FROM FLOOD WATERS AND AVOID FLOOD PRONE AREAS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.
