…FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE THROUGH MID MORNING…

.A THUNDERSTORM CLUSTER PRODUCING WIDESPREAD HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL HEAD INTO WEST CENTRAL OHIO AND THE MIAMI VALLEY LATE TONIGHT. RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN SOME OF THE HEAVIER DOWNPOURS. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL MAY BE ENOUGH TO CAUSE FLASH FLOODING ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS.

…FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING…

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL INDIANA AND OHIO…INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS…IN EAST CENTRAL INDIANA…FAYETTE IN…UNION IN AND WAYNE. IN OHIO…AUGLAIZE…CHAMPAIGN…CLARK…DARKE…GREENE…HARDIN…LOGAN…MERCER…MIAMI…MONTGOMERY…PREBLE AND SHELBY.

* UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING

* THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL OCCUR IN LOCATIONS THAT RECENTLY RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS…CREEKS AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER AND BE PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING OCCUR OR A FLASH FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED.
